A dental emergency can be painful and alarming, but knowing exactly what to do can make the difference between saving or losing a tooth. At S3 Dental Eltham, we are here to provide rapid, professional care for our patients in SE9 and the surrounding areas.

1. How to Book an Emergency Appointment

If you are experiencing a dental emergency during our normal practice hours:

• Call Us Immediately: Contact the practice on 0208 8509836

• Call Early: To secure an appointment, please call as soon as our phone lines open at 9.00am.

• Triage: Our team will ask a few questions to assess the severity of your situation and prioritise your care accordingly.

2. Out-of-Hours Care

If your emergency happens when the practice is closed:

• Existing Patients: Call our main practice number and listen to the recorded message for instructions on our out-of-hours arrangements.

• NHS 111: For urgent advice or to find the nearest out-of-hours dental provider in South East London, call 111.

• A&E: Visit a hospital Accident & Emergency department if you have severe facial swelling that is affecting your vision or breathing, or if you have uncontrollable bleeding following an extraction.
